Highland Frock Coat By Wah Maker Size 50R Style number 538489Shell - Black and Blended60% wool - 40% polyesterLining - Black 100% acetate satinLIKE NEW CONDITION(Bought in Jan 2007!) This is an EXCELLENT Frock Coat in MINT Condition. Thigh-length, conveying the class, distinction and dignity of the Old West Frontier, the proper gentleman will be perfectly attired for conservative and plain clothes events, including preachers, evangelists, and Bible teachers. Gun-slinging folk may appear a bit over-dressed in this coat, but coupled with a nice pair of slacks, vest, shirt and tie, even sporting men ("gamblers") and sod-busters ("farmers") can look well in this Sunday-best. The coat is well made by Wah Maker (see also Wahmaker, Scully, Frontier Classics, and COWS for period clothing). The 19th century was a period of timeless beauty, and this reproduction coat looks great at 21st century events, as well. I bought just a few months ago, wore it once, and have now lost too much weight due to bariatric surgery to wear this (I am down from 58 to 48, heading to 44-46). The Highland Frock is not as long as the Rifle Frock, so it is appropriate attire for any casual or semi-formal occassion, and it wears a bit larger than a 50R, so I would recommend getting it tailored to suit your body measurements.
