This is an Incredible Replica of the Original Highlander 1 Movie sword!!!!!!!!! YOU WON'T FIND ONE THAT LOOKS BETTER THAN THIS!!! T are plenty of companies that make wonderful replica's of the sword from the first movie but they all seem to have a few details missing. Different color, no brass screw, certain carvings (usually only noticable by a true highlander fan) But alot of the swords are fully functional and very usable with the exception of Marto. Marto Makes a very beautiful version that is just incredible but its just a wall hanger AND its missing quite a few details. THIS sword on the auction HAS the brass screw and is the MOST ACCURATE REPLICA I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have even included a picture that shows this sword on the left and the original screen used sword on the right (which has been basically destroyed i regret to say. Probably from screen use). You can get a decent comparison this way. The blade on this sword is stainless steel and looks wonderful. This sword IS NOT functional. It is safe to hold and move around a bit but i wouldnt advise swinging it hard or especially around people or pets. The Handle is made out of resin that has been painted to match the "plain white" look that the original had. The Tsuba or "hand guard" is also cast out of resin and has been painted Gold to match the original.
