THIS MOST BEAUTIFUL POCKET KNIFE IS DEDICATED TO THE GIANT AIRSHIP HINDENBURG .This beautiful commemerative POCKET KNIFE is a tribute to the GIANT AIRSHIP HINDENBURG. The quality of this knife is unsurpassed. The details are absolutely fantastic. I wish the scan could show the details of this outstanding knife. I'll try to do so. First, the silver image of the HINDENBURG is INLAID into the handle. Imagine the work involved to accomplish this inlay. Four perfect rivets holds it together. Then, on the image of this famous airship is the name "HINDENBURG". Just aft of the name are the FIVE INTERLOCKING OLYMPIC CIRCLES. Then the designation of the Hindenburg "D-LZ 129". Just below this number are two of the four engines. Forward you will see the command gondola and the passenger windows. T are two blades, the larger one is imprinted with "FR. OLBERTZ, STAINLESS, SOLINGEN GERMANY. " The smaller blade bears a winged crown and the word "Stainless." The handle is gun metal gray which shows off the beautiful SILVER INLAY. The third blade is a finger nail file. This HINDENBURG KNIFE is a piece of artwork measuring 3.25 inches long when closed, 7/8" wide and barely 3/16" thick.
