My friends, they simply DO NOT come any better than this. For your bidding pleasure is a stunning example of the very hard to come by "Hinkle Lizard" and its matching, correctly stamped box. Now, if that isn't enough, this is the version also stamped "Deuster Lanes", from Milwaukee, Wisconsin , Wisc, Wis, WI. The lures body is green and perfect, its painted eyes are perfect , body is perfect , hooks are perfect , hardware is perfect , and belly stamp is perfect . Matching box, which is stamped "GREEN" is perfect , as is the bottom. But don't listen to me -- See the ten attached pictures for proof. Yes, I too am frustrated by all the bogus claims of "MINT" we wade through on eBay. Let me assure you, as an avid collector of Wisconsin baits, 12-year NFLCC member, and owner of a 100% postive eBay rating, this package is mint . This is clearly "new old stock", the lure and box never having seen the light of day (until recently), let alone the water or even the inside of a tackle. See the pictures of the excerpts from extensive articles that appeared in the June and March, 2006 issues of the the NFLCC Gazette and Hunitng & Fishing Collectibles magazine about Elmer Deuster and the lures he made/sold, including this Hinkle Lizard.
