Campe Issued Paris, 1843 by Lavigne. 418 pp. Text in French. Period green 1/4 leather binding, gilt raised bands and spine lettering, green cloth boards, a.e.g., many black and white engraved illustrations throughout -- some full page, others interspersed throughout the text. In Good to near VG condition, light general age wear, binding rubbed & a bit worn but still attractive as an object. Internally mostly clean, some moderate scattered foxing and small soiling which is not offensive. Overall sound and despite any flaws, still a nice old book well worthy of ownership.
