On January 8 ,1877 – Battle of Wolf Mountain : Crazy Horse and his warriors fight their last battle with the United States Cavalry in Montana ; March 2 – In the Compromise of 1877 , the U.S. presidential election, 1876 is resolved with the selection of Rutherford B. Hayes as the winner, even though Samuel J. Tilden had won the popular vote on November 7 , 1876 ; on March 4 , Rutherford B. Hayes becomes President of the United States , succeeding Ulysses S. Grant as a result of the Compromise of 1877 , just to site a few Historical Events . My Friend inherited a Vintage Collection from her Uncles Estate and asked me to sell this Treasure on eBay. This 1877 Trade Dollar was stashed in His Coin Hord for years, now It is up for sale on eBay. According to ANA Grading Standards For US Coins, She should Grade in the VF Range. There is a Hole so I'm selling Her as a Cull; however You be the final Judge. She is still a nice 1877 Historical Commerative, a Great conversation Piece or a very nice Gift to a beginning Collector.
