THIS SURFACE FOUND COLLECTION IS FROM 40-60 YEARS AGO WHEN COLLECTED, PRE-1979 ARPA LAW ENACTED, LEGAL TO OWN! ALL THE RELICS WAS COLLECTED ON A LARGE SIOUX INDIAN WINTER ENCAMPMENT VILLAGE SITE, NEAR CHAMBERLIAN, SOUTH DAKOTA, NEAR THE MISSOURI RIVER AREA! are some or most of the items listed:Polished undrilled cone shape unfinished pipestone pipe bowl, has an X area inscribed, with the beginning of a stone drilled hole.This is very polished artifact, size is 1 1/4" long, x up to 3/4" across the top of the unfinished bowl.The next pipestone tool is a hard to come by artifact, had only only other complete one, in the last few years, it is a hide softening rubbing tool, when the Indians tanned their hides.This is a great one, with some very old deposits on the side, its a no brainer on the authenticity of this rubbing tool!It is high polished, rouned on top & bottom. The size is 1 3/8" tall, by up to 1" across.These are impossible to find, in any condition!Then we have clay pipe stem sections, clay pipe bottom of the bowl sections.Large fired percussion cap, part of a hawk bell, strips of brass with holes punched in them, were complete, but we broke them bothh cleaning them.
