Very Historical Abolitionist John Brown CDV Image w/ John Kirk Explorer / Anti Slavery Advocate.on the right you have the very well known United States Abolitionist John Brown on the left John Kirk Explorer and companion to David LivingstonAfter Livingston's death Kirk continued the fight in Zanzibar, Africa and was instrumental in end in the East African Slave Trade. the CDV is 4"x 2.5" the image is very clear. The card was made by Edward Smith of Corning, NY The card has hand written John Kirk, Petersburg VA and H.G. Short.Card is from a Bath NY estate.
