Original church pews from a historical church built in 1886 in Newport, RI. T are a total of 34 pews at 16 feet in length. Every pew has kneelers, book rack for hymns along with a holder for pencils or pens and red pads. Pews are in great condition. The church closed about 1 year ago and our church just recently purchased the building.
We are now in the midst of renovation and all the pews must go. The are also 4 smaller pews that we will throw in for free for the potential buyer. The wood work has incredible details and should be a must for any collector of historical church furnishings. Pew are available for immediate pick-up. Please submit an offer. Pick must be picked by the middle of July. If you have any questions concerning the pews or are interested in purchasing, please call (Correct Phone Number) . Members of our church will assist in helping you load the pews into your mode of transportation. We however will not ship, these must be picked up. From the insurance appraisal report dated 10-29-2003: Late 19th century Eastlake pews. Value = $102,816.00 After looking at the pews more closely and questions from follow Ebayers I have discovered that all the pews have wood piece screwed into the center to provide additional support. We removed one of them and t is no structural damage. The pews are old and have some cosmetic problem but have been used in this church up to last April (2007). I am lowering the price as a result. This is still a great deal for anyone interested in old pews. Thank you.
