Historical Dark Blue Staffordshire Transferware Soup Plate circa 1825 Antique Description: Gorgeous view on this Staffordshire pottery soup bowl. It's unmarked but has a view of a man fishing and two people in a boat with a couple standing in the foreground and a town in the background. Nice light interior with a dark floral border. The condition is great with a bright shiny glaze and crisp transfer. It does have a very minor 1/8" flake of glaze on the edge at 9 o'clock, a few tiny deep glaze scratches on the inner rim edge, a pinpoint size nick of glaze in the center and for the record, there is an extremely faint and small spider glaze line in the center that does not break the glaze on the back. It is only noticed if you tilt this in the light and hunt for it. In no way does it affect the look or display...most people wouldn't even notice it under close inspection. This displays brilliantly and measures 10&1/4" in diameter. Check out the photos!!!! Attention International bidders! Please check your shipping costs before you bid. They can be very expensive..
