IS A BEAUTIFUL, RARE, HISTORICAL PRESENTATION EARLY PIPE TOMAHAWK . Authentic Early Cerimonial Western Plains Presentation Pipe Tomahawk. Low reserve ...so get the auction started!.......This pipe tomahawk is a museum quality item!!!! Just a wonderful piece of history HAS A BEAUTIFUL, LARGE BRASS HEAD WITH IRON INSERT BLADE AND THE HEAD IS HEAVILY ENGRAVED IN FLORAL AND VINE DETAILS!!! THIS PIPE IS TIGHT WITH NO MOVEMENT ANYW Beautiful, early heavily tacked stem / handle that measures 22" inches long. T are GREAT DESIGNS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE HANDLE IN BRASS TACKS!! The tacks HAVE A CHOCOLATE OR COPPER PATINA from age. Nice beautiful presentation grade curly maple stem. Tacked pipes like this are usually cerimonial in nature and are getting very scarce and very hard to find outside of museums. The beautiful ENGRAVED BRASS pipe head and bowl have a great patina and has turned a dark color with age. THE BRASS PIPE HEAD HAS A IRON INSERT IN THE BLADE. T IS SOME RUST ON THE IRON BUT NOT BAD...The BRASS / IRON pipe head is huge..... 7 1/4" inches long. Wonderful workmanship for a pipe this age
