Burgundy cloth with gold titling on spine and cover and gilded top edge. Minor splitting to one of the fold out maps. 186 pages. The Holston River valleys, also known as the Kingsport Territory, lie mainly in northeastern Tennessee, and this book traces their history from the time when they were inhabited by the aboriginal predecessors of the Cherokee Indians.
