Universal Edition! Written by William H. Prescott. Edited by John Foster Kirk. Published by J.B. Lippincott Company, Philadelphia. Originally published by the author, 1843 and 1871. All pages are present and attached: 1462 total pages with illustrations . Approximate Dimensions of each volume: 5" x 7.25" Condition Description: Volume I (477 pages): forest green hardcover cloth book in near pristine condition with bright gilt lettering and emblem/shield on the spine. Binding is tight with no issues. Corners are bumped. Previous owners pencil marking on pastedown: "1 of 3 Set". Ex-libris sticker was removed as glue remnants remain with slight damage. Pages edges are browned along the edges; quick scan reveals no writing inside book. Book has musty smell expected of antiquarian books but it is not overwhelming. Volume II (463 pages): forest green hardcover cloth book in near pristine condition with bright gilt lettering and emblem/shield on the spine. Binding is tight with no issues. Corners are bumped.
