Here is an intriguing book filled with great illustrations and produced with support from IBM U.K., underscoring the importance of innovation and invention in bringing together “accurate and universal knowledge of the shape of the world”, something that “has become crucial to human survival.” The title of the book being offered here is: “The Shape of the World” , by Simon Berthon and Andrew Robinson. It was published by George Philip Ltd. of London. This large book is bound in fine black cloth covers with silver gilt titles on the spine; it measures 10 x 11 ¼ inches and contains 192 pages.
