History of the Sixty-Third Infantry Battalion WWII - European Theater 1945 Original Printing This original WWII edition of what was eventually to become an expanded history of the Sixty-Third Armored Infantry Battalion, is in good shape for a paper-covered book printed in 1945 in Austria.There are 71 meticulously detailed pages in this volume that includes histories of each battle the Battalion was involved in and lists of casualties, wounded (in battle and in non-battle incidents) and those who earned awards and citations. The engagements are chronicled up to VE Day in May of 1945.The volume was published as a tan color paper-covered volume in Austria by the Printing Office of G. Mittermüller, Bad Hall, Austria.Its dimensions are approximately 9 3/4"x 7" x .25".The work covers the 63rd Battalion in detail from is activation on 20 September of 1943 to VE Day, 9 May, 1945.This volume has some cover soil, an upper right edge bend (very small), and a 1" separation in the bottom of the front cover binding.
