Classic & Timeless Hitchcock....... Ebonized painted wood with beautiful stenciling, this is a vintage Hitchcock styled chair whose manufacturer is not clearly identified. I shared it's photos with a Hitchcock furniture expert and was told that it was "probably Ethan Allen". Since it is not labeled, I am unable to verify this. Height: 34 inches Depth: Front to back 15 1/2 inches Width: Side to Side 21 1/2 inches Chair is sturdy. Rush seating in very good condition as is the stenciling. Some wear noted and t The gilting shows wear in some places. Scuffing is noted mostly on the legs.
