Up for auction is a beautiful brass model from my personal collection. Here are the details: ROAD -- Denver & Rio Grande Western; D&RGW; DRGW. PROTOTYPE -- 01400 Series Steel Caboose #01469; Factory Finished black with the white "Rio Grande" herald. This car has windows with clear glazing. It is hard to tell in the photos but the windows are NOT plated over. This model represents the period prior to when D&RGW plated over all the windows on their cabooses. SCALE -- HO. CONSTRUCTION -- Hand Crafted in Brass. IMPORTER -- Overland Models, Inc. ( OMI ) in March 2006 ( OMI catalog # AB-1117-3 ). BUILDER -- DAEKI Company in South Korea. FEATURES -- Outstading overall detail; Impressive underbody detail; Interior detail with furnishings; Window glazing; Perforated rood walkways; Perforated end walkways and steps; Kadee couplers; Exceptionally fine detail even more then mentioned here. EXTRA ITEMS INCLUDED -- Original extra parts bag including MU hoses, screw and coupler bars. FINISH -- Factory painted and fully finished. CONDITION OF MODEL -- Brand new; Mint; First time out of the box was for these pictures. BOX -- Original green OMI box and dark gray foam inserts all in new condition.
