Use the shopping cart for multiple purchases to qualify for reduced shipping charges.Offered for your consideration is this Brass HO scale M-4, 2-8-8-4 steam locomotive by Precision Scale Co. . Made in Korea, this Iron Horse Models locomotive is factory painted and lettered for the Duluth, Missabe & Iron Range (DM&IR ), "The Yellowstone", cab number 237. It is being sold on behalf of the owner's estate.The engine has been upgraded with the addition of a DCC encoder and sound. Bench tested prior to the listing, it ran smoothly in both forward and reverse. The synchronized chuffing struggles at slow speeds, but appears to be okay at higher speeds (tested on a short straight track). Basic functions were checked out and they appeared to be functional (a data sheet is provided). Smoke also worked. The engine address is the cab number, (237).The box is solid with no torn corners on the top or bottom. The inner foam lining is still soft and pliable. I see no writing on the box.Finally, one or two brake shoes are missing/broken.
