HO Brass Santa Fe 'Vista Canyon' 4-Drawing Room, 1-Bedroom Lounge Car as Rebuilt in 1960 for Mid-Train Service. Produced for The Coach Yard in 2010 by Samhongsa of Korea. TCY #1228.2 MINTPullman Standard Car Co. delivered four 'Vista' series 4-Drawing Room, 1-Bedroom Lounge observation cars to the Santa Fe in 1947 with the distinctive rounded end of their fleet. In 1956 Santa Fe remodeled the cars and squared off the tail end. Further modifications were made in 1960 so the car could be used mid-train. This model represents the 1960 remodel with side skirting removed -- revealed the wealth of accurate under-body detail. 'Vista Canyon' remained on the roster until 1968.The model is factory finished with full interior details. It is provided new in its original box where it has been stored since purchased new. There is no indication of any previous use. No wheel wear. No nicks, dents or scratches in the factory nickel plating.This is a tough model to find.
