HO Brass 0-4-0t #2 side-tank Steam Loco with 4-Wheel Tender. Made in Japan for LMB (?) in 1960's. This well-preserved brass import from the 1960's runs well and looks great. It will benefit from basic maintenance.There is indication of some wear on the brass drivers, but they do not appear to be scored. Kadee knuckle couplers have been installed. The original box is missing. I believe this was imported by LMB. I will provide a suitable box with foam padding. The prototype is probably a Baldwin product of the early 1900's, marketed to logging, mining and industrial short lines for switching and short hauls. The model features a tapered smokestack, etched #2 plate soldered to side of cab, foot-board style pilots. The cylinder saddle casting is grey-metal (non-brass). It show no signs of decay. The assembly is typical of Japanese brass imports from the 1960's. All soldering is straight, clean and solid. There is an even tarnish over the model.
