HO BrassSouthern Pacific GS-4 'Daylight' 4-8-4. Factory Painted, NO Lettering. Equipped With TsunamiDC/DCC Sound. Produced in Japan by Katsumi for Westside Models in 1980's. 'A Bit Rough Around the Edges'. NO RESERVE AUCTION. This classic Japanese Brass Import has a few nicks and scratches resulting from improper storage of transport... The paint is scratched....probably some details loose or missing. I believe the paint is the original factory finish. It was imported with NO lettering, allowing the modeler (YOU!!) to apply appropriate decals depending on the era of preference. The GOOD NEWS is that it continues to run...no doubt will run better after some fine-tuning. The Tsunami DCC Sound and operating system works GREAT. (It could be removed and converted back to DC if you wish). The floor of the tender has several holes discreetly punched to accommodate the speaker. This model is sold AS-IS. Check the photos to make sure the nicks in the paint, etc. are not more than you wish to deal with. I will provide a suitable replacement for the box. Get in on the action for this classic model.
