I KNEW you were looking for a good Winter Ice Storm project. Here it is! You are bidding on an HO scale Ice Making Plant . The idea is that the ice blocks slide down the ramp onto the catwalk where the men manually push them into the brine tanks of the reefers waiting below.This model is constructed entirely from heavy card board and wood. There is some nice interior detail in the "office space", but you have some work to do. The flat roofs have warped and should be replaced. (The rest of the building seem solid to me.) Also you'll need to do some research on these old ice plants to get this model as you would like it. The ammonia evaporator on the roof was hand made by the modeler. Now it's up to you to figure out how it all works!I know this is not the perfect, complete model but it is still in pretty good shape considering its age and having been stored for over 10 years.We'll start this at a low price. Bid only if you can use it. It is pretty much a "what you see is what you get" model. The ice blocks in the last picture come with it but the reefer below does not. And shipping is what shipping is.
