HO Liliput Deutsche Bundesbahn [Class 91] 2-6-0 Tank Steam Locomotive (Era III) This locomotive has the markings of the Deutsche Bundesbahn, with Class number 91 and locomotive number 1323. The Class 91 locomotives were built as Class T-9.3 for the Prussian State Railways between 1892 and 1900, and continued in service after 1920 for the Deutsche Reichsbahn. A total of 2,060 were made, and they were used for light local traffic and shunting [switching] service. They had a top speed of 65 km/hour. After 1945, some of these locomotives went to the Deutsche Bundesbahn, and the last was retired in 1964. This Liliput model of a Deutsche Bundesbahn Class 91 locomotive is from the period between 1945 and 1964, and fits into Era III. It is used, in its original box with original documentation. As the photos show, there some chips in the paint and other than being dirty, the wheels show minimal wear. The locomotive does not have an NEM standard coupler pocket, and there are no couplers on the locomotive. There are two crewmen in the cab. The locomotive has working lights front and back, but they are not directional and do not change when the locomotive reverses. The locomotive has been test run and runs well, but like any model that has been in storage for a long period, it would benefit from the running gear cleaned and fresh lubricants. read more
