Offered for auction from my late father's HO collection:HO Scale Rivarossi 0-8-0 Steam Locomotive and Tender - Indiana Harbor Belt - Road # 102, made in Italy.Tested on my test track, this engine ran in forward and reverse smoothly and quietly. The engine's headlight does work, and lights in both directions. Note: Due to the nature of light bulb filaments, I can't guarantee the filament will withstand the vibrations of shipment. This is a DC engine.The boiler nose cover on this engine is a bit loose, but since this is the access to the light bulb, I don't want to glue it in. If it vibrates "out," it is easily reinserted.In his late years, Dad "collected" more than he "ran." The engine has been sitting for the last three years in a box, and in the years just prior to that, it probably wasn't run much. Therefore, I recommend that you clean and lube the engine and tender.I have a video of the engine running; if you would like to see it, contact me via ebay's message system and we can try to figure out a way for you to see it.I have attempted to describe this item as accurately as possible. I have not found any defects on this set except a little dust.
