U p for sale is an HO scale Rivarossi Union Pacific FEF-3 4-8-4, custom numbered as UP #838. The real 838 is owned by UP and kept at their roundhouse in Cheyenne, WY as a parts source for their #844. The engine is painted in the standard black and graphite freight scheme. This is from the newer run of Rivarossi FEF-3s which have DCC plugs and electrical pickup on the tender. The engine has a Digitrax DZ123 decoder installed and is addressed to 838. Headlight and rear back up light both work. The original traction tire was replaced with the correct sized replacement about a year ago. This locomotive runs smoothly and quietly and will pull just about anything you put behind it! The original box is also included with all of the original paperwork. Buyer will pay shipping. Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks!
