This is a HO Scale Varney Kit of a Berkshire locomotive. This is a kit by Varney Model 2714-K. The kit is complete with full instruction. This kit is an entirely new (1958) version of the Varney Berkshire Locomotive kit. They designed a simple, rugged, die cast zinc alloy under frame. The DC-718 motor is attached with one screw and a single set-screw is used to get a venire adjustment on the motor worm mesh with the main driver gear. The mechanism has been assembled and track tested at the factory. This will be a great project for the winter months ahead. All the original boxes including the shipping box.
