HO train ATLAS Electric AEM-7 Engine AMTRAK *mint* Album *** Click on the larger picture in this description to view a larger version of the picture. *** This is oldstock from a hobbystore warehouse. we have a AEM-7 electric engine, manufactured by Atlas. Stock number 85711. This models the mighty AEM7 developed by GM and ASEA used by Amtrak, Amtrack, Amtrac and the cab number is 901. This is great is you are running trains with the PRR, NYC, B&O, Septa, Reading or Lehigh Valley roadnames. Features include: Directional lighting 2 fully painted cab engineers inside cab! (factory) DCC ready Brass flywheels for smooth take offs and stops High and accurate detailing Blackened metal wheels 8 wheel electrical pick-up 8 wheel drive Very nicely detailed and it is in MINT condition with NO BROKEN steps, railings or couplers. IT HAS NO RUN TIME ON THE TRACKS! You can run this on either DC or DCC however if you want to run DCC, you will need to install teh chip. I have track tested this engine and oiled the motor and it runs smooth with an operating directional headlight that works. T is a box in mint condition.
