This is a pristine item and a wonderful addition to any collection or operating layout and one that will be the focal point of all who view the item. In preparing this auction I had to pick twelve pictures to include in this eBay presentation . To provide all truly serious potential eBay buyers of this item with the maximum number of pictures, (Please note: All pictures included in listings by the tax man are taken with a simple Kodak digital camera that does not have a professional close-up lens . Therefore some of the enlarged pictures appear to show specks or dust on the model when in effect and affect these are imperfections in the quality of the enlarged pictures. I have been asked over the years about my selection of items listed on eBay. Here is an updated explanation as of May 2011. In the current listings you are looking at item(s) that have been added to my personal inventory of locomotives and rolling stock related to the well-known personal layout that I owned, the D.L. & D. R.R. over many years. Each of these items are unique if only because they were part of the locomotive and rolling stock rooster of this well-known layout that at its peak had well over 3000 engines and motive power, over 7,000 items of rolling stock and passenger cars, over 7700 feet of code 83 track (127 scale miles), hundreds of turnouts, hundreds of buildings (well over 50 FSM kits custom built as dioramas by a number of master craftsman from around the country), a prototypical scale replica of the Hoboken Terminal area and finally seven turntables and roundhouses plus four transfer tables to display engines..
