Hobby Master was founded by a group of hobby enthusiasts and specialists who endeavored to establish new industrial standards for die-cast collectibles and provide unprecedented levels of enjoyment to customers. Introduced in 1967, the General Dynamics F-111 Aardvark pioneered several technologies for production military aircraft, including variable-sweep wings, afterburning turbofan engines and automated terrain-following radar. Replicating an Aardvark flown by the 27th Tactical Fighter Wing out of New Mexico's Cannon Air Force Base in the late 1980s, this scale die cast model features engraved panel lines, a detailed cockpit with optional-position canopies and pilot and weapons officer figures, working swing wings, removable ordnance (including twenty-four Mk.82 unguided 500-pound bombs!), optional-position landing gear, and authentic markings, including the 27th TFW "clenched fist and magnolia" shield on the fuselage.
