HOBE Jade Beaded Necklace Jade CarvedDouble Fish PendantGem Quality Jade!Vintage Hobe jade beaded and jade pendant necklace with 18k gold plated findings. The necklace features a lovely carved double fish jade pendant and jadeite jade green and pink beads. The green beads are 10mm and the lavender/pink beads are 8mm with small gold beads separating all the beads. The light green jade fish pendant is carved with criss-cross scales, a pretty and detailed tail, and each has a carved eye. The clasp is signed Hobe on one side and Design 3427691 on the other. The patent was issued in 1969 so we have an idea of when the necklace was produced...most likely in the 1970s. The necklace measures 24" and the pendant drops 2". It weighs 2.8 ounces on my scale.The necklace is in excellent, like new condition and still has the original hang tag as shown in the photo. You can see Hobe and Jade on one side and the price of $75.75 on the other and that was in the early 1970's. I cannot account for the grade of the jade...A, B, C, etc., but both pendant and beads are gemstone quality. Please excuse my photos...the colors were very difficult for the camera. Overall this is a beautiful jade necklace in excellent condition. Please enlarge the photos so you can see how beautiful this necklace is!
