Presented for auction is the RARE Hobbs Brockunier "Hobbs Hobnail" Pattern c.1891, produced the same year that they merged with U.S. Glass. This highly sought after EAPG pattern is SELDOM SEEN...and it's AWESOME! Adorned with hobnails top-to-bottom, even on the base ring! It measures 10" in diameter, stands 6 7/8" high, and is in EXCELLENT CONDITION, with no sign of wear! One of the hobnails that hangs down from the bottom of the plate rim has a flake off of it from behind, that I only found when running my finger behind it; it's not visible from the front at all. It may have even occurred in the glassmaking process, since it's in such an obscure spot. T are the usual old mould marks from the glassmaking process, like bubbles, straw marks, and swirls/striations. All of these are characteristic of antique glass, and they are what give each and every piece of EAPG their own personality! And of course, it has that fabulous BLACK LIGHT GLOW, too! An EAPG Pedestal Cake Stand that I know you will want to add to your collection...or give as a gift! Shipping weight 7 lbs. Thank you for visiting my auctions; please email with any questions.
