Thank you in advance for visiting our website and EBAY store, and we look forward to hopefully doing business with you. As you will see from surfing our site, your purchase will truly make a difference in the lives of children impacted by autism. Given that 1 in every 150 children are diagnosed with autism in the U.S. , having a sense of community and the chance to make a difference to those not as fortunate as ourselves is so important! Hopefully, not only will you enjoy our website, but also help us raise monies for and promote awareness and tolerance of those impacted by autism Our names are Sean, Ryan and Kyle, and we all currently attend the same middle school on Long Island. Our younger brother Conor is an unbelievable kid attending the Ascent School for Autism and now, due in large part to the generosity of our local community and people such as you, he starts his day at the same elementary school we graduated from. Along with our parents, we co-founded the Ascent Youth Alliance to Battle Autism (AYABA) Program, and are proud to say that we are the Youth Co-Chairmen of its fundraising events benefiting Ascent and other autism related not-for profit entities. Please know that : ~ For the upcoming annual AYABA Autism Awareness Raffle, we used our own college savings to purchase and then donate nearly 50 hand signed pieces of memorabilia and over 25 sets of tickets to either Met or Yankee games! NINETY PERCENT (90%) of the net profits will be given to Ascent, and the remaining TEN PERCENT (10%) to the Kids in Special Services and After School Respite Services programs of the Mid Island and Sid Jacobson Y's in Nassau County . As of 2/22/07, we have over 70 student volunteers across Long Island, N.Y.C., Westchester and Rockland Counties helping us fight the battle against autism! ~ SEVEN PERCENT (7%) of the sales price from your purchase-before sales taxes (if applicable) and after deduction of Ebay and Paypal costs-will be donated to Ascent to fund and sponsor future AYABA fundraising events. ~ In addition, for every TWELVE (12) items purchased from 4BOYZ AUTOGRAPHS with a sales price equal to or exceeding $50, our family will donate to Ascent either (a) ONE (1) hand signed memorabilia item or (b) a pair of tickets to a Met or Yankee game for use by Ascent in its many fundraising events. ~ As a special thank you to our clients who make a direct donation to Ascent of $25 or more, we will send you your choice of either (a) an American League Championship Pin celebrating the Yankees unprecedented 39th American League Pennant, (b) either a Joe DiMaggio or Babe Ruth commemorative baseball card or (c) the DVD of the 2006 NY International Independent Film and Video Festival Best Educational Documentary "Getting My Child Back: Fighting AutismÂ" Despite our relatively young age, we have spent the past five (5) years helping our Dad: (a) purchase and secure hand signed memorabilia to be donated and used for autism and other charities benefiting children; and (b) set up and chair the silent auctions for numerous charitable fundraisers. <...
