Hoi An Hoard shipwreck bowl.This is from the 15/16 th century.This bowl was manufactured in kilns near modern-day Hanoi to fill an export gap caused by diminished production in China due to war with the Mongols.The Hoi An shipwreck was found in the South China Sea, in a typhoon area known as the "Dragon Sea."Tea bowl measuring 4-7/8" wide by 3" high.This bowl is in good condition.T are no chips or cracks.This small rounded bowl has an everted rim coated with a translucent pale blue glaze.The bowl is decoration with a naturalistic design with wind swept leaves between the bordersThe bowl has a straight foot.The underside of the base is unglazed.T is a motif in the center of the bowl of a naturalistic design.Guaranteed to be authentic.Please see tmy other listings for more Hoi An Hoard Shipwreck ceramics.Sales tax of 8.75% will be charged to anyone who purchases in the state of California.Good luck!
