Whether you are a military equipment collector or are just looking for a super sturdy AC Generator set, this one fits the bill. This is a 1963 U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Winterized AC Generator set. It has a Wisconsin Heavy Duty Air Cooled Winterized engine model: MAENLD, Serial number is 3513264, piston/bore size & stroke: 3" X 3.25", RPM: 3600, Specification Number: 200107, Net Cont. BHP: 6.05, Date: 1963. Carburator is a Bendix-Zenith L63E-12199C. The "Winterized" kit includes 120vac oil pan heater (not sure if that works) and an air temperature controlled cooling shroud for the cylinder head (that does work). Generator is made by HOL-GAR also in 1963. It is a 3.3kw (3300w) / 3750 watt peak, single and three phase generator that produces 120 volts and 240 volts in wye, Z, or delta. Maximum current in 120 volt delta operation is 31 amps, and maximum current in 240 volt Z-operation is 16 amps. Output voltage and winding configuration is easily changed using two heavy-duty 6 pole toggle switches inside the set operator panel. Panel has a standard grounded outlet for plug-in items and also has a power contactor for the larger loads that would be wired to the terminal board inside the panel.
