From my personal vintage jewelry collection: This is a magnificent bracelet in a quite stunning design that is signed by the very diverse and talented designer Hollycraft, who has always been one of my very favorite vintage designers. The design scheme, what I call the "ribbon" or "bow"-style is one I have seen before by this fine designer, in a variety of colors, and it is signed "Hollycraft Copr. 1955" on the back. It is just gorgeous, and perfect for any occasion, elegant or casual. This is one of the prettiest Hollycraft pieces I've come across in my years of collecting. It's a dazzler. It is actually prettier than the pictures if you can believe that! It is also in such wonderful condition for a vintage piece, which is very unusual. Of course, ALL Hollycraft pieces are beautiful, but this one is special because the colors are some of my favorites together.The huge and heavy bracelet is made of several sizes of pale blue and purple rounds, and also purple baguettes, just brimming with sparkle. They are set in the expected antiqued brass metal, ornately carved in the Hollycraft tradition. The stones are selected and positioned perfectly so as to catch and refract each others' colors and light. This is one of the many things that set Hollycraft apart as a high-end designer, and this attribute is masterfully executed in this classic piece. This sparkling garland of color and texture is set in a very beautiful, well-made design on the exceptional piece. All stones are very glittery, with none missing, dull, or damaged. One of the tiniest pale blue rounds is out, and needs resetting, but I have it, and will include it with the bracelet.Amazingly, t appears to be virtually no wear to the stones or to the antiqued brass-toned metalwork, any of which would be understandable, given the age of the piece. All stones look wonderful, and are in good, clear condition. T is so much glitter and sparkle in this piece, it simply looks marvelous for its age!This fine bracelet is of excellent quality and condition, and is very wearable for its weight & size, as I have come to expect from this marvelous designer. It was apparently very well-cared-for by its previous owner. Measuring approx. 7 inches long and 1 1/4 inches wide, the bracelet is quite stunning. T is a working safety chain, and also a clasp that is nice and tight. This is an unusual and beautiful Hollycraft bracelet that I hate parting with!
