Founded in 1930 by San Francisco artist Alfred J. Casella, Casella Lighting has been commissioned over the years to produce distinctive one of a kind designs for some of the most prestigious homes, civic buildings, and hotels. As the exclusive makers of the renowned Casella lamps, artisans at Casella are skilled craftspeople who build and assemble each lamp according to exact specifications. Featured in this auction is one of the most incredibly beautiful exquisitely designed light pieces I've seen. This lamp is stunning, it is very large and heavy, over 16 pounds of mirror polished solid brass, you won't believe how well it's built. This piece is in excellent condition with only light surface scratches and t, it shows beautifully. This lamp has two rotating shades which light separately with separate dimmer switches, it stands 16 1/2" tall, the shade section is 20" across, the solid brass base is 14" across, and it's total depth is 17".
