Hollywood Regency style Brass dolphin Table stand

You are bidding on a heavy brass table base. I don't know the actual age or origin of this vintage piece. Base is missing it's glass top or could be used as a plant stand. Piece has 3 nicely cast dolphin with turned up tails. Table base weighs 37 lbs, stands 16" tall and measures approx 18" between the tips of the tails. Brass has small, spots of corrosion that can be seen in the photos. Piece has not been polished or cleaned and is unmarked except for numbers on base. Shipping weight will be approx. 42 lbs. I will ship USPS or Fed Ex ground. Let me know at close of auction which you prefer. Please let me know if you would like additional information.
I miscalculated the shipping rate. This package measures 22" x 22" x 23" which is considered a large package by the USPS. FedEx ground is more in line with my estimate. I will ship FedEx for the shipping amount quoted in my auction. If it is over the actual cost I will refund the difference.
