Holtzapffel Spiral Apparatus. Late lathe equipment circa 1890 from lathe number 2425.Gears numbers 180 ,144 ,125, 100, 95, 96, 90, 70, 72, 30, and 20 plus 2 gear holders. Original gold finish, brass gears Very rare. Illustration to show how it sets up
This collection came from an old man in the west country of England. We bought this item offered for sale plus the other pieces being offered. Always had plans for them but now time to refocus , so offering for sale. Some may notice this item was just listed and then was taken out . This is true, someone attempted to hijack the auction and 2 others by inserting a buy it now option with their email etc. I got ebay to help and they immeadiatley de-listed the item.
