Holy Bible :1793 Approx Size: 4.75 x 7 inches (12 x 18 cms) Hardback. printed pages Original panelled calf leather binding, spine worn with large section of leather missing at foot. Preliminaries and title page missing - first page is A2. Old ink scribbling to several of the pages. First and last pages are creased. Good solid binding. New Testament title page is present, dated 1793. Despite wear to spine and missing pages the binding is good and solid, and all text is present. Overall Condition is Fair+ We have recently acquired an extensive collection of Penguin books - in excess of 3000 volumes. We have most titles from the main series up to no. 1500, plus Pelicans, Penguin Specials, Puffins and many more of the other Penguin series. Foreign editions, variant issues and rarities are included, many in outstanding condition. We will be listing items from this collection over the coming months.
