This is an aluminum shallow water diving hat, with 1/4" laminated safety place windows (lights), a 1/4" neoprene foam covered interior, with an adjustable head band and a rubber edge guard around it's open bottom. The helmet is equipped with an adjustable air discharge valve, that, the diver can set to adjust the water level on the helmet. The helmet is equipped with a hose barb for 1/4" ID clear acrylic tubing (that is routed through hose in the handle to take strains off the hose barb) when used with a small oilless compressor for pool diving (the way to get started). Typically, the water level is at the bottom of your chin, but, the helmet design allows you to tilt you head back - to look up - as far as you can. The helmet weighs 27.5 pounds out of water is is light on your head in the water. Helmet requires at least 1.2 CFM, minimum supply volume, otherwise, the water level rises and falls a bit as you breath. The helmet will be double boxed and shipped from Baton Rouge. LA 70815 (I can't make the Item Location change from my old CA address, on the template). T is a $20 packing charge on this item, since I have to buy the materials to pack it properly. I prefer money order and do not take Pay-Pall or Bid-Pay. Shipper and insurance options at the discretion of the buyer - otherwise, I ship in US by UPS Ground and out of US by USPS Ground. Ask your questions before you bid. Estimated shipping weight is 35 pounds. The last helmet I sold, shipped to Canada by USPS Ground for a little less than $34.
