Up for auction is the lovely near mint condition Homer Laughlin Currier & Ives set of dishes. These dishes were purchased in 1953 and have been kept in a china cupboard with little use. T are 13 place settings of dishes and they are in excellent condition with no signs of wear. The dishes are decorated with Currier and Ives prints and have a gold design around the rims. T are: 13 - 10" Dinner plates w/"The Homestead in Winter" scene; 13 - 7 1/2" Salad plates w/ "The Farmer's Home - Winter" scene (one is cracked); 13 - 8 1/4" Soup bowls w/ "A Home in the Wilderness" scene; 13 - 6 1/4" Dessert plates w/ "The Farmer's Home - Winter" scene; 13 - 5 3/4" Fruit bowls w/ "The Farmer's Home -Winter" scene; 13 - 6" Saucers w/ "The Farmer's Home - Winter" scene; 12 - Cups with the Currier & Ives scene on the inside of the cup. (One cup has a tiny chip at the base.); 1 - 8 3/4" Vegetable bowl, round with "A home in the Wilderness" scene; 1 - 8 1/4" Covered vegetable bowl with handles (Lid has noticeable crack in it. The is also a chip on inside lip of bowl coverd by lid.); 1 - Gravy boat with handle and spout; 1 - 8 1/2" Oval plate (by 6 1/2") for under gravy boat; 1 - Platter, large (15 1/4" X 12 1/4"); 1 - Platter, small (11 1/4" X 9 1/4") T is a small chip on the rim; 1 - Coffee/teapot (T is a "flea bite" chip on inside of rim; 1 - Lid for
