Up for auction is a mixed lot of Golden Wheat dishes. This Pattern, made by the HLC was a premium product that was distributed in boxes of Duz Detergent in the 1950's and early 60's. Every piece is edged with 22K gold. This lot includes... 10 Teacups 1 without a box 6 still in original, sealed boxes 3 in opened boxes 3 Large Glasses 2 still in sealed boxes 1 in opened box 9 Small Juice Glasses 7 in sealed boxes 2 in opened boxes 2 Fruit Dishes 1 in sealed box 1 in opened box 1 Saucer in sealed box My grandmother collected these and stored them dutifully in a Heinz Baked Beans box in her garage for years. My grandmother passed away in 1988 and the box was moved to my mother's garage w it sat until 2001. When I moved out of my mother's home and into my first place my mom gave the Heinz Baked Beans box to me. The box has lingered in my kitchen cabnet ever since. I come from a long line of hoarders and now with a daughter of my own, I am determined to break the vicious cycle! So now, in 2007, I'm hoping these darling little glasses and dishes can be loved and enjoyed like they were ment to. Only one piece is missing its box, the pieces out of their boxes are in mint unused condition. Although I am unable to look at the pieces still sealed in their boxes, t is nothing rattling about inside - which is a very good sign. The
