When I started collecting, I was fascinated with the endless varieties of surcharges, overprints and Treaty Port cancels on Hong Kong stamps. As a young and an inexperienced collector, I was duped on more occasions then I would care to admit to. Even to this very day, it is sometimes very difficult to differentiate the bad from the good. Ever since those early days, I have amassed an extensive reference collection of over 700 items which has been a very valuable and indispensible guide over the years. Now it is time to disperse of this collection to fellow Hong Kong collectors and let them determine what is what. Enjoy. According to eBay guidelines, all forgeries/replicas must bemarked indelibly as such on the reverse. In compliance with this condition, I WILL INDELIBLY MARK ANY STAMP "FORGERY" IF INMY OPINION IT IS SUCH BEYOND ANY DOUBT ; HOWEVER, I WILL NOT MARK THE STAMP AND RISK IRREVERSIBLE AND PERMANENT DAMAGE IF I AM AT ALL UNCERTAIN OF IT'S STATUS. THIS LOT IS SOLD "AS IS". THANK YOU. 1864 QV 2c - KIUNGCHOW D28 CANCEL (FORGERY ???)
