We at the Hoosier Antique And Classic Bicycle Club(based in Indianapolis) hope you are having a great start to the New Year!...and have a good handle on that bicycle project you have going <:)=== === This listing is for one reserved SWAP SPACE at our annual Winter Swap, Saturday February 5, 2011!!!! As usual, SNOW OR SHINE! It's that time already! ....only a couple of spaces are left!(overflow spots..the show is FULL!) === Reserve your space online. This reservation is $22.00. (payment via PayPal only/no refunds for no-shows)==Take advantage of the convenience and be pre-paid, as this show always sells-out! We always have a few over-flow spots inside in the nice comfy heat(no guarantees on overflow spots at the last minute).......but why take a chance? ...... and then for the brave-and bundled-up, there are always FREE spots to set-up OUTSIDE in the parking lot!(hehe, I'm not kidding) Sell out of the truck,camper, or whatever. Just bring it! What the heck-else are you doing the day before the Super-Bowl?! ==BIKES== This show is all about bikes; trading, swapping,selling, buying, and SHOWING! We have buyers and sellers every year from many states, such as Michigan,Texas, Ohio, and several others throughout the Midwest. Lots of SCHWINN! Lots of STING-RAY Stuff, including Fastback, Krates of all kinds..you will probably see a Lemon Peeler, Pea Picker, Cotton, Apple Krate, and an Orange, and even a Gray Ghost! Every type of bi-cycle from a hi-wheel Ordinary, early pneumatic safety, pre-war balloon-tire, motorbike? vintage, antique, lightweight, middleweight, Whizzer? a Harley-Davidson? Indian for sure, plenty of Elgin, Monark, Excelsior, maybe a Mead, a Shelby and Dayton for sure, and a few custom bikes for sure... ==PARTS== yes, this show is about parts, both new, reproduction, and used(with grease included)....just about anything you can imagine..but a lot of Schwinn and StingRay stuff. If you are restoring or attempting to complete a bike this is a good place to stop, to search, and possibly conquer. **NOTE: at least ONE collector of vintage BMX/Moto-Cross/Motocross -bikes is coming to look for PARTS/BIKES, so if you have stuff from the 1970's/1980's, put it in the truck!!!! ==SHOW BIKES== of course, this show is about showing-off bikes! If you wish to show a bike in the"Show-Room", it will cost you $4.00 for each bike entry in the listed categories.(see flyer below) Plaques are awarded to the winners of each Major category, and ribbons for second and third in each. There is also Best Of Show. Professional judges are imported from Texas, and there is also input from other knowlegable collectors/historians pertinent to the category...so these folks know what they are looking at <:) There are always some 'choice' pieces in the show...come and see some beauties..bring yours! it's not about winning,(there's no crying in bike shows, if you are a loser) it's about showing off your pride and joy. The more the merrier, as we love to crowd the show-room with form, color and chrome, and make the competition a-plenty. If you've shopped or sold at the show before, you know the drill. ***Dealer set-up is at 7:00AM Saturday morning ONLY. No Friday night set-up. Public is admitted at 8:00. If you pay for a vendor space, you must set-up with merch! (I.E., no paying for a space, just to shop early and leave an empty spot) ==DEALERS== Dealers are allowed one additional helper per entry fee(not 5 buddies that want to shop early for free) ==SHOPPERS== the public is allowed to enter at 8:00 for the cost of $4.00. If you want to be an 'Early-Bird" shopper(which means you are a "Non-Vendor") and enter when the dealers do(from 7:00 to 8:00) the privledge to do so is $20.00. ==FOOD== is always provided,( for a cost) coffee, donuts, hot dogs, chili, snacks, soda, etc!!!!!
