Thank you for viewing this auction. We have two hoosiers, and need room, so this one needs to go. Very functional piece, with original paint and cute pattern. Can also be used for a hobby station, or whatever. Please recheck this auction for additions. Some items of interest on this piece are; it rests on casters, has a side bracket for mounting a meat grinder (we will include the meat grinder we got with it for free), the "H" (hoosier brand) latches, and original paint. The sliding porcelain top, the flour sifter, and the bulk dispenser are all in good condition. All three are easily removed for cleaning, or convenience. The revolving spice rack has seven jars with lids. The sliding doors operate nicely, and are in good condition. T are racks inside the two upper doors. The large lower door also has a rack, and two sliding trays inside. The lowest drawer is an enameled drawer (potatoes/onions), the middle drawer is a tin drawer with a sliding top (bread), and a small utility drawer above that. T are two utensil drawers on top; one is divided, and the other has a scalloped rack. Lastly, t is a Hoosier manufacturing label on the backside. As this piece has attained some age, it has acquired some personality. T is some paint loss. T is a side bracket , right side high, that appears to have had arms for dish towels or something. The arms are missing, but replacements are available. The utensil drawer with the scalloped rack has one portion missing. The side panel (right side) veneer is slightly wavy. We have included plenty of pictures for your inspection. We are only putting a few in the ad so it loads quickly, but t are 18 pics available at /pony557/hoosier These are highly useful and functional pieces. Overall, this one is very clean, and in good condition. Dimensions are; height 6 ft., width 40 ½ inches and add 3 more for the meatgrinder bracket. Depth is 27 inches, and the porcelain top slides out an additional six inches. Low opening bid, and low reserve...don't be afraid to bid! Reasonably priced. Also, offering it locally in different venues. We will respond promptly to inquiries. We are offering this item as pick up only. However, if you wish to arrange your own shipping, we will certainly make it available to your carrier. Payment for pick up is paypal, cash, or postal money order. I brought it home, one trip, in an SUV...tight fit, but it works. (upper and lower sections separate)Thanks again for viewing this auction, and we wish you a joyful holiday season!Hello, and thank you to all the current bidders, also to the inquiries. I am going to blanket add a few things that came up as questions...first, a better overall picture, as the first one was a little blotchy. It is my opinion that; yes, this is oak. yes, this is the original back and tag (in back). Yes, the pattern painted on the front is original. I have no way to weigh it, but, my guess is it is under 200 pounds. The bracket on the right side, high to the front, was likely a towel bar that is now in need of arms...available on ebay. The reserve is a wholesale $395, but its a nicer piece than that. Thanks to everyone, and hope your holiday season is fun and joyfilled whether you win or not.I am not a wood expert, and this is a painted piece, I can only go by what is exposed. is a picture of the wood grain, appears to be oak to me, you decide.
