HOOVER DAM NEVADA THE EIGHTH WONDER OF THE WORLD MUSICAL WATER GLOBE I am not sure of the Tune the Music Box plays although I know I have heard it many times and it sounds very familiar to me. Sorry...... Glass Globe features magnificent HOOVER DAM in detail. Base is Bronze color and has what appears to be a BRONZE FIGURE OF THE REPUBLIC. Printed under the arms of the Figure is; THEY DIED TO MAKE THE DESERT BLOOM and t is a slash between each word. Across the bottom of the Base printed in Red Raised out Letters is; HOOVER DAM. HOOVER DAM HISTORY: The actual Hoover Dam stands 736 Feet High, 1244 Feet wide at its crest. It is 660 Feet thick at the Base. T is enough concrete in its structure to pave a highway across the continental United States. Approximately 6" tall with Base, Glass Dome is filled with Glitter. Wind-Up Music Box located in Base. No Batteries required. This Rare and Retired Collectible HOOVER DAM Water Globe is new in Original Box with Original Protective Styrofoam surrounding the Globe for safe shipping. Box may have minor damage and or shelf wear. This Water Globe is new although may have been retired, or no longer being made or the style has changed. Made by Three Jays or JJJ who are well known for their excellent quality and attention to detail. They manufacture for such high end retailers as Saks Fifth Ave. Bloomingdale's, Macy's and etc. We are delighted to be able to offer them to you.
