$2 New Hope Delaware Bridge Company, Lambertville NJ-280 mid-1830s-47 $2 G8 Lacks a large grey TWO in lower center. Durand, printer. Crisp uncirculated remainder with some faint ‘toning’ that seems to me to come from capillary action from the inked areas. Wide side margins, tight lower margin, slanted upper. Lovely standing lady, nice geometric ‘rosettes’ and a really great ‘God’ with arms outstretched with two cherubs all abroad and eagle.Main office formerly located in New Hope, PA; it was moved to Lambertville in 1830s. See PA-455I love the engraving on old banknotes. My descriptions are just my impressions and may be mistaken. Same goes for the grade. It is my opinion.
