Up for auction is a Hopi Indian Wedding Bowl The Story: This bowl was given to my wife on the occasion of her wedding to her late husband who at the time was confined to a wheelchair. The mother of his then attendent was a old Hopi indian pottery maker named G. Nahsanhoya who gave them this Wedding Bowl as a wedding present. Two years later, she gave them two more pieces which we will be putting up for auction within the next hour. She signed the Wedding Bowl, but the story is she was two old to sign the last two pieces. It is about 4' tall, about 6.5" wide at the widest point, the opening is 4". It's condition: It's in very good condition with some scrapes. T is a chip out of the rim that is about 2.25" wide X .5" deep at the widest points. See photo. The wedding date was 1983.
