HOPI ~ SILVER KOKOPELLI COLLECTOR'S BRACELET/CUFF SIGNED ~ BERNARD DAWAHOYABorn in 1935, into the Hopi Snow Clan, on the United States Hopi Reservation in Northern Arizona, Hopi Artisan Bernard Dawahoya was given the Hopi name Masaqueva ~ "Wings of the Sun". He began Silversmithing in 1956, specializing in beautiful Silver Overlay work, using the Hallmark of the Snow Cloud. He passed away February 2010.This beautiful, collectible Dawahoya ~ Hopi Kokopelli Silver Overlay Bracelet/Cuff designed and hand-crafted by Bernard measures approximately 6" around on the inside, with an opening of approximately 1 1/2" at the back that is adjustable with pressure. The bracelet is 1 7/8" wide, weighing 3.2 oz or 91 g. Purchased as part of a Private Collector's Native American Jewelry Collection in Colorado, as such, it was never worn. Bernard's Hallmark: Snow Cloud is present on the inside.
