Horn Gramophone Original Stock No 6746 Horn Gramophone Period: 1925 The wood box is mahogany with ebony and mahogany stringing on all sides. No escutcheon plate for winder. The front has a decal of Apollo with a push button that releases the lid to reveal the motor. Motor is in good order and is numbered with other identification marks. Steel deck is a push fit and is numbered on the underside “80”. Sound box is Bakelite with chrome outer perimeter. Tapered arm is wood with silver foil interior. Elbow and connector to sound box is gilded. Suspension spring for arm tension is also fitted with an additional clip on brush for record dusting. Fluted tin horn has been repainted and is in good order, very slight surface rust and minor bumping. Steel support elbow arm for the horn is fixed to the box by two butterfly screws. Condition: The mechanics are working but speed and sound box will need a service. Item will be posted in two boxes to either UK Mainland or Europe only. Total weight inclusive of packing is 35Kg
